Customer Service (Surrey)

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Answer inbound customer calls through email and over the telephone; provide price checking / price matching services; educate customer about products.
  2. Process pending orders.
  3. Create accounts online for new customers; sign up customers to website over the telephone, email and fax.
  4. Prepare regular, repeat and new orders for processing. Use computer program to convert documents received via mail, fax and email, to readable files, attach prescription from Doctor (Rx) to order.
  5. Process orders through online systems and over the telephone.
  6. Follow up on shipping dates, order status and general order inquiries from customers.
  7. Conduct outbound service calls; proactively contact customers with upcoming refill requirements; regular promotions or special project outbound calling.
  8. Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of all related company policies and procedures.
  9. Ensures a high professional standard of service and performance by actively participating in other duties as assigned, educational and training programs.
  10. This is a FT position that requires 40 hour per week from Monday to Sunday.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

Individuals in this position will effectively demonstrate the following:

  • Basic working knowledge of various computer systems and programs including Microsoft Office Suite -- Outlook, Excel, and Word; Jasc picture software; Internet
  • Solid command of the English language; capable of using moderately complex oral and written communication skills
  • Personable, listenable quality to telephone manner
  • Accuracy and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to solve problems or resolve conflicts which are varied, require analysis or interpretation.
  • Excellent time management, initiative and organizational skills

Pharmacy Assistant (Surrey)

Specific Accountabilities

  • Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and inform supervisor of stock needs and shortages; stock shelves with product from new shipments received.
  • Order, label, and count stock of medications, chemicals, and supplies, and enter inventory data into computer.
  • Check outdates.
  • Clean, & help maintain, equipment & work areas.
  • Make boxes and prepare shipping materials
  • Generate accurate shipping labels for patient’s medication delivery
  • Fast typist
  • Date entry of patiest care information & knowledge of WINRx is an asset.
  • Accurate dispensing of prescription
  • Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of all related company policies and procedures; pharmacy practices, new drugs and their uses.
  • Ensures a high professional standard of service and performance by actively participating in other duties as assigned, educational and training programs.

Working Conditions

This position is required to operate and perform in a pharmacy environment. Unique or special features of the job include:

  • Some repetitive hand motion is required (typing, mouse, handling medications/packages)
  • May be required to lift up to 10lbs
  • May be required to carry packages up and down stairs.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Experience with WinRX is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of various computer systems and programs including Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, and Word; dispensing software; Internet & email
  • Ability to safely and effectively operate general office equipment (phones, fax, photocopier)
  • Good command of the English language; occasional use of oral and written skills.
  • Accuracy and a strong attention to detail
  • In-depth knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures with the ability to use in varied situations.
